Battle of Sara-toga (Freeman’s  Farm)

Friday September 19, 1777

The battle started because most of the afternoon at Freeman’s Farm a furious struggle raged around Arnold poured fresh regiments until jittery gates broke off the action that’s how the battle began. In  Saratoga county New York. Great Britain commander General John Burgoyne. Commander’s of U.S. colonies Benedict Arnold, Daniel Morgan , and Horatio  Gates. The U.S colonies side had 60 killed and 260 wounded. Great Britain had 140 killed and 370 wounded. When the battle was over it was a crucial victory for patriots  and is considered the turning point of the Revolutionary war.
