History of Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week began after kidnapping and torture in 1985.

In 1988 Red Ribbon Week was recognized with Ronald and his first lady

Nancy serving as honorary  chairs. Today Red Ribbon Week is still being celebrated. It is the most largest  prevention in the United States. Today,

Red Ribbon Week brings millions  of people together regarding the need for tobacco,alcohol, and other drugs. Red Ribbon Week is celabrated in almost every middle schools and high schools.
